Veo generates the picture and its audio together. Start from a sentence, from a photograph you want animated, or from where your own footage stopped — then keep going, seven seconds at a time.
100,000 characters a month on the free plan. No card, no trial clock.
A blank prompt is the hardest way to get what you pictured. Two of these hand the model a picture instead.
Describe the shot, not just the subject: the camera move, the light, the mood. That is what the model has to work with, and it is what separates a usable clip from a lucky one.
Your photograph becomes the opening frame and the shot moves on from it. The framing follows the picture, so a portrait photo is not stretched into a landscape.
Veo will not continue a video it did not make. So the last frame of yours becomes the first frame of a new clip — and Studio joins the two.
One pass is eight seconds at most — that is the model, not a limit we set. Length comes from continuing a clip, and what comes back each time is the whole video joined, not a fragment to stitch yourself.
Video is the one thing here billed by the second, so the ceiling is per plan and visible before you spend it.
| Plan | Seconds a month | With premium top-up |

| Studio | 250 | up to 400 |
| Enterprise | 1,000 | up to 1,600 |
When the month's seconds run out you can opt in, per request, to keep going out of your OpenAI and Gemini allowance — priced at what those characters actually cost, and never touching your Prosody pool. It is a switch you set each time, never one left on.
Generated clips that our team has approved appear on the Generate screen as examples, each with the prompt that produced it — and a button that drops that prompt straight into your own box. Seeing a good prompt teaches more than any guide; using one gets you started.
Need the clip to speak rather than to run long? Seedance makes fifteen seconds in one pass with the dialogue already in it — out of the same monthly seconds.
Video generation is on every paid plan, with the seconds shown before you spend them and a hard ceiling that cannot be passed by accident.
