Seedance writes the picture and the speech in the same pass. Fifteen seconds of finished spot — the shot, the room tone, and someone in it talking — from one description and a few photographs of your product.
100,000 characters a month on the free plan. No card, no trial clock.
Not a silent clip waiting for a voice. A finished fifteen seconds with the speech already in it.
The dialogue is generated with the picture, lip movement and all, so nothing has to be recorded, timed or laid over afterwards. It costs no premium characters, because no text-to-speech runs.
Four to fifteen seconds in a single pass — nearly twice what a frame-by-frame model returns before it has to be continued. Choose the length before you generate; the cost is shown against it.
Send up to nine images of the same thing from different angles. The model reads them as one subject, so what appears on screen is your product rather than the model’s idea of it.
This engine has no continuation: a clip it has made cannot be extended, and a video you bring cannot be carried on from. Fifteen seconds is the ceiling, not a first instalment. When you need a minute, the Veo path is the one that keeps going — seven seconds at a time — and both spend the same monthly seconds, so the choice is yours to make per clip.
The engine comes in four sizes. A larger one costs more of the month for the same length of clip, so the plan decides how far up the list you can go rather than how many clips you may make.
| Plan | Best model | Video seconds a month |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | Seedance 2.0 Mini | 48 |
| Creator | Seedance 2.0 Fast | 144 |
| Studio | Seedance 2.0 | 250 |
| Enterprise | Seedance 2.5 | 1,000 |
Both engines draw on the same monthly seconds, so switching between them is not a way around the ceiling. What differs is the exchange rate: a second of video on a larger model takes more than a second out of the month, and the exact number is shown on the Generate panel before you spend it.
The automatic ads flow uses this engine end to end: describe what you sell, attach the photographs, and what comes back is one generation that already speaks — no script to record, no voiceover to time against the cut.
Talking video is on every paid plan. The seconds are shown before you spend them, and the cost of the clip you are about to make is shown beside them.
