Refund & Cancellation Policy

ProsodyAI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to customer satisfaction. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are provided for our subscription plans and services available at prosodyai.ai and through our mobile applications.

The ProsodyAI Free plan provides 10,000 characters per month at no cost. No payment information is required, and there is nothing to refund.

ProsodyAI offers the following paid subscription plans:

• Starter — $9/month (100,000 characters)
• Creator — $29/month (500,000 characters)
• Studio — $79/month (2,000,000 characters)
• Enterprise — Custom pricing

All paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis.

You may be eligible for a full refund if:

• You request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase
• You have not used more than 10% of your monthly character quota
• You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate payment, incorrect amount)
• The service was significantly unavailable or non-functional during your billing period

Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically processed within 5–10 business days.

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:

• Requests made more than 14 days after the billing date
• Significant usage of the service (more than 10% of quota consumed)
• Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle (you can cancel anytime to prevent future charges)
• Dissatisfaction with AI-generated voice quality (we recommend testing with the Free plan first)
• Character add-on purchases after consumption has begun

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

1. Log in to your ProsodyAI account
2. Go to Account → Billing
3. Click Cancel Subscription

When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again. After the period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan.

Annual subscriptions receive a 20% discount. Refunds for annual plans are prorated based on the number of full months remaining in the subscription, minus the discount received. Refund requests for annual plans must be made within 30 days of the initial purchase.

Please include your account email, the date of charge, and the reason for your refund request. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are happy to resolve billing issues directly and promptly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
